Spectrum Plus

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026. How we collect, use and protect your personal information.

Spectrum Plus is a performance marketing agency based in Toronto, Ontario. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and in our work with clients, why we collect it, and how you can see, correct or remove it. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Who is responsible

Spectrum Plus is operated by 1000701802 Ontario Inc. Peter Hamilton is responsible for how we handle personal information. You can reach him at hello@spectrum-plus.ca or (416) 239-0039.

What we collect

When you fill in our contact form, we collect what you type in: your name, business name, email address, phone number, website, the service you’re interested in and anything else you choose to tell us. The consent box also records whether you agreed to hear from us by email.

If you email or call us, we keep your contact details and what you tell us.

When you become a client, we also hold business contact details for the people we work with and the information needed to run your campaigns.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. We use it only to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare for and hold our call with you, provide and bill for the services you hire us for, and keep our own business records.

If you ticked the consent box, we may also email you about your enquiry and related services. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us, and we will stop within 10 business days.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for anything unrelated to the reasons above without asking you first.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need to do that work. These include our website and form provider (Hostinger) and our email provider. They may only use it to provide their service to us.

When we run advertising for a client, we work inside the client’s own Google, Meta or other ad accounts. We don’t share your enquiry details with those platforms.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Where it’s stored

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Canada, for example in the United States or the European Union. While it is there, it is protected by contract but may be accessed by courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of that country under their laws.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to two years after our last contact if you don’t become a client. We keep client records for as long as we work together and then for six years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as Canadian tax rules require. After that we delete or anonymize them.

How we protect it

We use password-protected accounts and encrypted (HTTPS) connections on this website, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their job. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies it needs to work. We don’t currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to us using it. Email hello@spectrum-plus.ca. We will reply within 30 days. If we can’t give you access to something, we will tell you why, unless the law prevents us from doing so.

Questions and complaints

If you have a question or concern about how we handle your information, contact Peter Hamilton first at hello@spectrum-plus.ca. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca or 1-800-282-1376.

Changes to this policy
